Welcome to the Official Firstones.com FanFic forum! I created this forum for a few reasons (stated below):
1) My observations have shown that many people here are very good writers! Some of these things are related to b5, some aren't. Post your fanfic here, and you can enjoy the comments! [img]http://www.firstones.com/forums/smile.gif[/img]
2) THe anger from the Sierra thing can be vented here [img]http://www.firstones.com/forums/smile.gif[/img] I find that writing is a good way of calming down. So is drawing (or rendering [img]http://www.firstones.com/forums/biggrin.gif[/img])
3) I felt this would be a nice addition
ok, so that's why I killed hi--errr...Opened this forum.
Anyways, here are some basic rules here...
1. You may post anything deemed appropreate. What is appropreate? use your own judgement, and the fact that many people on this site are minors (such as myself). If your storied contain profanities, give notice at the beginning of the post. If they contain lots of violence, give note to that.
2. Don't Flame someone for posting a story which you didn't like. I've seen some people go Nuts because they noticed little problems...
3. To the Writers: Criticism is good! don't flame or insult people for things they have said, even if they flamed you first (which is a violation of rule 2)
4. Have fun. Write poems, stories, story ideas, etc.
Here are some ideas of what to post here:
Writen FanFic
Poems
Illustrated FanFic
FanFic CHallenges (challenge the masses at firstones to create a story based on a topic you state)
FanFic Competitions (Writers post stories, the people judge them, and the winner gets a digital award)
FanFic Ideas
Stuff like that
Just some more posting guidelines (not rules, recomendations that you should try to follow)
1. Try to use an Established Content rating system. ie. the MPAA's movie rating system (G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17 (and If I catch one of these in here, i'll give whoever posted it a nice slap [img]http://www.firstones.com/forums/wink.gif[/img])). My recomendation is to Post use a Commonly used subject format
[Status] [Title] [Chapter/Part] [Genre] [Rating]
I can assume that most of you will post Scifi Stuff, but this can be Action, Adventure, Romance, Anime (I consider it a Genre), or whatever else.
also, By status, I mean the following:
NEW: This means that this is the first posting of the Document
REPOST: This means that this document is a repost
REQ: this message is a request for a fanfic Document
CHAL: This message contains a challenge for authors to take up if they want to
ATTN: [name]: Attention! This is a Message for the author inthe [name] part
