The moment that we've all been waiting for. The moment that I have waited to see for two years. The first official public release of The Babylon Project. Our First Release is a 5 mission demo of the Earth Minbari war with all of the ships and weapons of the time period. This is our springboard for future releases which will include more ships from all of the races, more weapons, more graphics, and more missions. This is the beginning and a special one at that. Enjoy it for what it is and make the best of it. More is to come.

Again, I'd like to reiterate that the 3DDownload mirrors may be a bit slow in recieving the file. If you are mirroring the file on your server, let us know so we can update the site visitors.
I'd also like to note that the new website is coming but not quite yet.
Thanks for everyones support through this difficult project. It wasn't easy and it didn't happen very quickly, but we made it this far and we don't intend on stopping here. There are some people we should thank.
Firstly, Reaperman...who started this whole crusade. Secondly, Wingnut and Spikey who nobody ever hears about anymore. They were the first to try and make FS2 models work and without alot of successs. Their groundwork layed things out for one of the most important stages of this project. Without Tomcat, we would not be here today. He worked endless hours and sleepless nights to make models for us. He also worked on texturing and again, layed the groundwork for the rest of this project that would not have succeeded without him. Eternal One's expertise with FreeSpace 2 MODing, and KillMeNows endless devotion to making new weapons bitmaps when I was not happy with the current ones also played a significant role. How about Alpha-1 and BlackSheep who captured over 200 sound samples and then made them fit the framework of FreeSpace 2. There was Kazan for programming POF tools to make model conversions easier and better. There are so many more people to mention that can't be, but know that you all contributed to make this work.
Sincerly
