Now that ITF has been postponed for what could very well be several millenia, I was just wondering if the devs could tell us who the "entity" was, now that such info should be relatively safe to tell the interested public. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]

So, who was the "entity"?

    It wouldn't be appropriate to disclose their identity. But I will tell you that a small studio was considering the possibility of finishing the game under the auspices of a major publisher. Our hope was that with a letter of interest in principle from the studio, we would once again interest one of the original publishers that had voiced interest in the game before Sierra suddenly decided to not sell the IP. The problem was that the small studio had many projects to choose from that were already funded, and they needed to get something going right away, whereas ITF still needed funding, since the original publishers who were interested got cold feet after Sierra pulled its stunt. The studio also felt that they couldn’t get up and running fast enough for them to finish our game in time to make it viable in the marketplace.
