Iv just posted this on the mods forum and im posting it here too so everyone can be updated.

    I was going to put them in originally, but then I thought it might endanger ITF...of course since that is no longer an issue...

    Im afraid that I cant put in all the features from ITF, such as commanding a fleet, a more open ended story and the races remember what you have done to them. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/frown.gif[/img]

    There are a few other things that I hope you guys like that iv added too.

  • I have a question about aesthetics about all of the mods. I don't have any of them as I don't think my parents are prepared to afford the download time for some of them, but I don't plan to let that stop me. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/wink.gif[/img]
    My question is: is the weapon fire for the mods the same as the stuff in the show, or does it remain the same from the game being modded?

    It depends on the game the mod is of. For some games, changing the weapons may be easy, and therefore may be done at the modder's discretion. For other games, it may be difficult. In some cases (eg Homeworld) there really isn't much need.

    Thirdage's weapons fire is mostly the same as the show. (Things like the Nail fighters in the battle of the line dont fire beam weapons tho...having so many of those on screen at once would crash the game)

    But with the other ships, iv tried to make them as realistic as I can.
