Tuesday, 02.01.2001 22:30 MYSTERIOUS INCIDENT IN FINLAND. Uncommon events occurred today in Finland. In the lake near Bennayes town directly from the sky fell some enormous unidentified body. According to the evidence of eyewitnesses, everything occurred within a few seconds. Was heard loud whistle, then the sound of impact/shock. Enormous funnel/hopper was formed on the spot of the incidence/drop in the object/subject in ice.
Anyone know anything about this?
Thanks.

[b]That's really strange, I've heard nothing about that. I even checked the websites of our major news services and I found nothing.

LOL! You're probably right. Hee, hee.
Where'd you get that news Randy? I'd like to read that if it's on the web somewhere.
Also, that Bennayes town doesn't sound very Finnish and at least I have not heard of it before. Would it be possible that it's a place with the same name in US or another country?
In any case, this is very interesting and I'd like to know more about it.

They are not sure though if it was caused by a meteorite or just a gas eruption in the pond.

I actually believe more in the meteorite theory myself. That gas one just seems a bit too weird to me and afterall small meteorites fall from the sky all the time anyway. Though most of them usually burn in the atmosphere and never reach the ground.
