Story arc with Chapters

I think they should take the path the makers of Soul Reaver and Shenmue took: make a game that is just part one of the story, but is a rich and detailed game in and of itself. They could make a 5-year story arc like the tv shows (personally, I'd like to see where Crusade would have gone).
