The Excalibur is not alone in a search for a cure, the EA Blenderhead (OK, I need to change the name...) searches out the rumor of madicinal qualitys in the gasses of a planet.

    amazingly, they were simple. (No, I didn't figure it out, someone else did)

    create a tube (Yes, a tube) apply texture. in materials make certain its a plane, and set at the bottom look for the buttons that look like this:

    [b]X[/b] y z
    x [b]Y[/b] z
    x y [b]Z[/b]

    change it so its like this:

    x y [b]Z[/b]
    x [b]Y[/b] Z
    [b]X[/b] y z

    now, enter edit mode. select either the top or bottom of the tube, scale it larger, and move it up so its on the EXACT same plane as the other side (so its flat). voila! planet rings. (Make certain you have both the color and alpha maps.. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img] )
