Well, to answer your question, the Worlock would win, hands down. The fighter alone in the warlock (48 thunderbolts) would beat the 2 WS......

48 Tbolts couldn't beat two White Stars unless they were standing still and not shooting. Heck, two Minbari fighters could beat 48 thunderbolts.

grrr... why do people give the Whitestars more credit than they deserve....
they're friggin' pack-fighters, alone they're just really big, overpowered fighters.

when was the last time you saw a WS take on a cruiser-sized ship single handedly, and without outside assistance (Telepaths, ETC.), and win ?

    Messages from Earth.

And the main reason they didn't do too well in the EA Civil War is that they were trying not to kill anyone. If they wanted to they could have just gone slicy-slicy and severed the habitat sections right off the omegas. And remember, a White Star has tractor beam thingys too. They could line those T-bolts up and with one fusion beam blast take 'em all out.

I seem to remember the Whitestars kicking some Vorlon butt during the coriana 6 thing... but then again that wasn't head-to-head against vorlon ships either.

That musta pissed off the Vorlons having their own tech being used aginst their own kind.

Reminds me of Japan buying up all our spare steel and iron, and then attacking Pearl Harbor...

No offense to anyone out here, it's just a history lesson.

    Cheers!

I saidi n a stand-up fight, IE: no telepaths jamming the enemy ship, no exploding jumpgates, no big super-weapon, *NO RUNNING AWAY*.

Just out of curiosity, how the hell did this topic end up here? I mean, it has a proper topic title, and then it starts going on about a topic that is over in the Zocalo (which is probably where this one will end up soon).

It didn't run away. It advanced toward Jupiter. Anyway, I also seem to remember the original White Star beating Shadow ships throughout season three.

Also, it may take a pack of White Stars to, say, reduce a Battlecrab to floating particals of black goo, an Earth ship is orders of magnitude (Read: Several billion years) less advanced than a Shadow ship

yeah, but those were either A) Being jammed telepathically, or B) of the Scout/Fighter class.

and don't forget, the Warlock DOES use a tiny bit of Shadow tech.
