Is it real?!

CnlPepperCnlPepper Earthforce Officer
I've been working on a set of Earth textures and surfaces for a while, now I think (hope) they have finally got to the stage where the casual observer would have trouble telling if they were real or not, what do you think?

• amazing work cnl, but i dunno the clouds, there just something about them....too hihg contrast...slightly too much?? im not sure but the improvements in the clouds!

i think the fact theyre "there" or "not there" needs a bit more work on as well

but i am really nit picking, REALLY nit picking

• I agree, unless you knew to look you couldn't tell the difference. But, to nitpick:
The contrast on the clouds does seem a bit much. The edges just seem so sharp.
The horizon looks photoshopped, honestly. I see a couple well-defined and too-perfect bands of color, and none of the haziness one would expect.
Should there be a few specks of light from large cities on the right horizon? I'm honestly not sure.
Granted, I'm too lazy to look at some real photos while I type this.
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
Very nice, but the atmosphere seems a bit too thick.
It also seems to gain opacity too fast.
The clouds also seem to have "sharp" edges.

But a very nice attempt.
