Attention artists!
Sanfam
I like clocks.
In keeping with the plan for the new layout, I am going to put together a gallery. If you would like your work to be there, just give the word!

MUWAHAHAH--errr...STOP STARING AT ME!
Good.
Now, would it be possible for each of you to compile a list of your artwork (preferably links)? Also, each of you are going to get a section of your own within the gallery. The thumbnail of the section may be any image that you want. Enjoy!

That should be it.
EDIT: Whoops, forgot one! Sorry.

"Huh?"
"I kicked it."
"Ahh."
BTW do LW and MAX users use a meshed beam or can you add beams like in blender? Do a long stream of flairs ?
Beams? You mean laser beams? There are many ways to do them, but yes you have to use an object. Sure you can put many flares in line, but that would be frankly speaking pretty stupid and wouldn't even look very good.

I have beams but I want to trash em so I ws checking if LW/MAX needed em!
Later I wanna go home and eat!

Sanfam - the John Sheridan is 54.7MB unzipped an with no textures. Can you take her or will I have to do a segmented mesh?

Well, I make beams by just applying a glow plugin to a line (spline). Simple, yet very effective.

PJH - That is the ONLY way to get a goon beam in blender. as for the mesh that 54.7mb one is high detail - 400,000+ polys and is DXF format so LW will be smaller!
Oh yeah, I forgot that Blender uses DXF format. Similar mesh in LW or MAX would probably take 5.47MB instead of 54.7MB. I wonder why they haven't developed an own format for Blender.
