    I like it, very nice! That Shadow ship looks so menacing. One thing though, maybe the Whitestar beam needs to be a bit brighter, or maybe a bit fatter?

    How it ended: The remaining Brakiri opened a jumppoint, and the White Star followed it into Hyperspace. The Shadow phases in after them. The White Star breaks off, and the Shadow follows it, forgeting the Brakiri. The White Star ducks behind a gravatationaly eddie (the little swirly things in Hyperspace), just after the Shadow has is within firing range. The Shadow shoots a single blast at the White Star, which is deflected by the eddie (anyone who thinks this can't happen, read [i]To Dream in the City of Sorrows[/i]). The White Star opens up a jumppoint directly behind it, spins around, and fire full engines, stopping just short of entering the vortex. The Shadow's scanners are blocked by the vortex, and it assumes the White Star jumped and phases into normal space. It then finds the jumppoint, which is framed by the rolling ball of flame that is a star. Sizzle. Crumple. Splat.
