Yeah, that would be cool.
But I think B4 is not MUCH smaller than B5. I think it reaches until the 2nd Sphere.
But I never saw that, so that could be really damn wrong

• I've read that B4 was much bigger then B5 actually. It's fighter capacity was supposed to be MASSIVE.

anyway...the rotating section of B4 is HUGE
• yeah, and apparently different section can have different rotating speeds - and B4 is capable of moving through space!!
Man, Earth spent a lot of money on that one

I wonder how much money was actually lost due to B1-B4

• the scale on this might not be right, B4 probably is too short. http://www.geocities.com/canisd/Drawings/Babylons.gif
• David of MacDavid of Mac Elite Ranger Ca
You ask me, B4 is a little too big. The center rotating section should be the same size as B5's rotating section. It's the same basic componiant after all.
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
Actually, I believe the model is too short. The rotating section is completely different, and something we DO know is that NO parts of b4 were used in the construction of b5, but spare b1, b2, and b3 parts were. ANother thing to know is that the Babylon 4 Rotating section is a really, really huge, bigass rotating section. Don't let it's appearance fool you, it is one Huge station.
the scale is wrong, and that is because it is actually SHORTER than what it should be.
• Looking at B4 and B5, it is my opinion that they seem to both be very close to 5 miles long. B4 is just much more massive.

Why? Just compare the sizes of features such as docking bays, cobra bays, etc. No B4 parts were reused, but the design was obviously closely related.

please note the numbers i put up.

B4 is 9300m long or 9.3 KM in length

B5 is 8592m long or 8.592 KM in length

The differance is 708m, which in the scale of things aint much!

@Sanfam: I can tell you his source: his brain.

I think thats all crap. The B5 Universe is a mini-universe. B4 would only be 1 centimeter big in our universe!

No doubt how long b4 is....taken from Lurker's Guide, War Without End part 2:

But they accepted the station right away.
Given that there's a massive war on, they just had their major starbase destroyed, they were left without a platform from which to stage the last part of the war...and here comes someone offering a 6 mile long, perfectly empty and eminently useable base for the last phase of the war, no charge...hell, I'd take him up on it too.

Oh a new toy. Can I play, please?
