  the skin needs a bumpmap and a transparency map, that'll make it look better.

  Transparency? Shadow ships were only transparent during one or two episodes.

  Well, based off of what I've seen, they always had a high level of transparency, but not enough to see through, and just enough to keep them "black" (Which, I believe, is due to the densely packed strands of "black stuff" (very technical term) that composes a portion of the bio armor and the ship itself.
  Anyways, until someone who has actually examined the shadow model (A dev, maybe?) can prove me wrong, I stand by my idea.

  I think only the outer layers of the main body are transparent as seen when Garibaldi was captured, you could see the starfury quite clearly and the inner layers are black to hide the internal parts but quite a nice picture.. [img]http://forums.firstones.com/forums/smile.gif[/img]
