A Mysterious Enemy

I have been quite busy lately but now when I got this cool model to my hands, I had to try it. [img]http://forums.firstones.com/forums/smile.gif[/img]

An ISA Whitestar is patrolling somewhere in ISA space as its sensors detect something strange.
-Sir, we're detecting a space distortion a hundred miles away! It's getting larger and larger!
-Put it on screen.
-Aye sir!
-Oh my god... I have never seen anything like that before! (I had to use that cliche, sorry [img]http://forums.firstones.com/forums/tongue.gif[/img])
-Sir, the sensors are reporting an energy spike! It's shooting at us!
-Send a distress call! Take evasive action!
The enemy started shooting the Whitestar. ([url="http://members.nbci.com/xo7/sathshows.html"]Picture[/url])

Later in a nearby ISA base:
-Sir, one of our WhiteStars on patrol has been lost. The distress call mentioned a huge ship against which the Whitestar wasn't apparently a big trouble.
-Send a scouting expedition to find that ship. If it really is that powerful, we must attend to it.


I know the beam looks a bit dim compared to those in FS2, but I'll fix that in the future pics of this story. Yes, this story will continue. But I can't say how soon. I'm quite busy with some projects.

    Thanks for your feedback and Jabu is correct about the beam. Actually it isn't orange, that's just because of the yellow nebula, but the beam is just not intense enough. I'm working on a new version of the beam, I will use it in the next parts of this story. [img]http://forums.firstones.com/forums/smile.gif[/img]

    PS. The_Raider, though I'm flattered from your words, I just want to say that it isn't very polite to swear in public forums. No one else does it.

    The motion blur is there so it would appear to be moving, and I peronally think the blur is quite good. And most members of B5:ItF Finland agree. [img]http://forums.firstones.com/forums/wink.gif[/img]

    I must admit that the nebula sucks quite much, I'm trying to make better ones or just steal some from Nasa. [img]http://forums.firstones.com/forums/wink.gif[/img]

    Now I've remade the beam and I think it's quite close to the Shivan beams in FS2. You'll see it in the next pic.

    The motion blur is fine, but the lighting on it makes it look like it's made of plastic!

    You should either change the heading of the whitestar, or move it a teency tiny bit (ot just move the light [img]http://forums.firstones.com/forums/smile.gif[/img])
