I think that now is the time to say "decide". We could keep going with this improvements and ideas thing forever, the way Shadow Boxer's firstones logo thread has, or we can actually choose a forum logo.
I say we make a choice from those that have been posted up till now. There are some nice logos there.
My vote is for the one with the fire.

its cluttered my friends.... in all the versions.... the fury and the jumppoint need to be scaled down.... and any of the permutations above will be great.
One thing tho.
a single identifyable icon such as the one I instigated and has been much tooled with by us would still be an excellent addition. simple. neat. clean. beautiful.
The icon with the logotype would be another good solution. I'm bias, sosumi I didnt spend all that time building that icon to see it squandered.
more thinkies people.... and if someone wants to pluck and place the icon into a solution that would be cool.
It's [i]OK[/i] if the forum logo is a little cluttered.... first of all, it's not meant to grab anyone's attention or bring them into the page. Lots of people probably won't even notice it.
But if someone links to the forum, it informs them of where they are.

Same here. I never thought Shadowboxer's logo would work as a Forum logo...
It should go on the front page, if anything.

ShadowBoxer, don't take this stuff personally. We're not trying to stifle your designs. If your design (or any of the graphics in this thread) is never used, don't take it personally. You volunteered your time to make it, but don't get upset if it's not used.
Mainly, I don't think SB's logo would look very good if it were scaled down to fit in that box.
