I have a question....

im trying to do some minor 3D rendering for the FOA Tribe web site, and i was wondering (mind you I said MINOR), would CAD work? I just got it to do odd ball stuff, but i was wonderind if that could do stuff like what major 3D program could do, just not as good. for $10, it wasn't a waste of money to me, but i was wondering if it might be good enough? (no, i am not rich, just saved up alot for tribes 2!)

    i have tried blender, but i need some stupid Quicktime DLL that i have tried to get forvever and so im just buying stuff, my g'pa has a $500 3D program, he said he would give that to me once he has moved into town.

    Inspire(what I use) is $500. And has most of the functionality of lightwave. Truespace is also around the same price depending on the version you buy.
