Decided to use Lightwave to do some B5 stuff...

Had lightwave for ages now, but never done a proper B5 render with it (just done models for the B5FSF, that's all the B5 stuff i use if for). So here it is!

    Looks great!

    Some nitpicking, though [img]http://www.firstones.com/forums/wink.gif[/img] : the weapon fire seems to be a bit too thin, and (perhaps it´s just me, but) maybe rotate the left vortex a bit towards the camera (to get rid of the hard cone-border). Also, a bit motion blur would give the image a bit more dynamic feeling.

    The explosions looks great, where do you have it from? I know some sites, where you can buy CD´S with explosions on them, but they´re pretty expensive. Are there any free ones available somewhere?

    Naw don't use motion blurs. Just write it off as having a good camera. =P

    The weapons just need alittle work.

    (not to mention they are Minbari, but you can be forgiven for that =P)

    Am I really stupid now or doesn't WhiteStar fire a yellow beam in the show? That looks like a Vorlon beam.

    Made some changes to it, make beams fatter, added motion blur and changed the other jump point..

    X-Omega = Yellow beams? No, there were green [img]http://www.firstones.com/forums/smile.gif[/img]

    madmaniac = Don't know of any free places to get explosions but you can always save the example images on most sites and use them.

    Sanfam: You can't map a texture onto something that doesn't exist. You could use the Null object as a reference object for a texture on some other solid object though.
