Topic for news and current events?

With the recent bombing, and the way that threads fill up the B5 and Zocolo areas, would it be appropriate to have a new and current events area where we can talk politics, world events, and other subjects away from the B5 forum?

As interesting as all of this is to us (members) it may throw off newcomers to be inundated with unrelated posts.

Just a thought.

    But I don't really think we need a news forum. The only reason we have a lot of news topics at the moment is because of the attacks.
