Close-up photos of Babylon 5 costumes

Triple-F posted these on the B5 Scrolls Facebook page, but I was looking at them and decided to marvel at them here. Over at the Replica Prop Forum someone visited a TV exhibit that included some of the Babylon costumes and took a bunch of close-up pictures.

When I took a second look, I was gobsmacked at some of the details. I mean, you could tell G'Kar's outfit was ornate, but it just doesn't stop. And I never realized that the robes in Kosh's suit had those intricate patterns embossed into them.

  • croxiscroxis I am the walrus
Or how hot they would be under studio lights
  • This is great! I've always loved the costumes on the show, and it's nice to finally get some high quality pictures of them. I especially loved finally getting good views of Kosh's encounter suit, so many things I never noticed.
By the way, I might be remembering incorrectly, but I thought that on Kosh's suit there was some Vorlon writing. Or was that on Ulkesh's? I didn't see it in those picutres anyway. I also never noticed that B5 belt buckle that Sheridan and the other officers had on their Army of Light uniforms.
  • I saw Londo, G'kar, and Delenn's costumes up in Seattle when I was in high school. Did not expect to see them, but I did, and it was awesome.
