    I've been to that hut. It's in a pretty nice place, with a good view of the lake. Fortunately, the peek season for tramping down that track is about over, so they should have time to repair it.

    It looks like Tongariro has calmed down again.

    I wonder how closely the two events are related. Those two volcanos are, after all, part of the same chain.
