a few photos ya'll might like

So last weekend I was in Florida, and decided "Eh, why not", stayed up all night to drive 5 hours to the shuttle launch, arrived super early, and managed to find a half decent vantage point to watch the launch. :)

Not the greatest quality, 11 miles with an old 200mm lens, more photos for memories sake than photography.

    Some nice shots there tho! I've seen 2 launches and a landing, so while I count myself fortunate to have seen them, I do wish I'd been a bit older to appreciate them, as I was only 13 or so at the time

    Funny thing is, I lived in Florida for 23 years, and never went to see a shuttle launch. Moved to TN, then managed to be in Florida the weekend of a launch. Decided "Now or never" so went for it. Bummer the clouds showed up, there were none until about 6:30 am.
