Back at home from 5km

Nice thin air there in 5½km, just barely over half of atmospheric pressure (and oxygen) left.
But actually it was lot easier to breath up there in 4-5km altitude than in Katmandu's smog at 1,3km altitude though going upwards is lot more just plain dragging your feets with pause every 5m rise than walking.
While trekking started from 2,8km dropping first down to 2,5km river valley definitely did enough up-down-up-down etc walking and couple rest day acclimation trips for extra couple kilometers of vertical rise.
And rise to Namche Bazaar is nice with trail zigzagging up something like 50-60 degree slope like some serpentine road. Also half km deep "ditch" next to trail started fast to feel perfectly normal.

But photos from 5km are okay too (bonus points for boobies).
Lot's of things to do after having been 20 days away and now also spring is at full speed in here. (like there in Nepal around 3km)
At least you'll know where to get some German pizza. :D

The most important thing is that there's sauna in Namche!

I don't know, but it seems to be quite an important piece of information, otherwise they wouldn't have mentioned it in the video.
Who knows, maybe after a while people get homesick and get a sudden craving for German pizza.
Who would want to break off base camp because of German pizza? :D
