I just read on the BBC that Elisabeth Sladen died after a long fight with cancer.

We will miss you :(

    It seems to have taken everyone by surprise, she kept it secret from everyone outside of close friends and family.

    You never would have guessed anything was wrong watching her in the recent series of Sarah Jane Adventures, she was running about like usual.

    Pretty clear she wasn't going to let it stop her from doing what she wanted, it's just such a shame it won in the end :(

    Apparently they have filmed three stories (six episodes) of the next series already, so I imagine they'll broadcast those at some point.
