Now this episode is quite probably what I would say defines star trek. I can't think of a single other episode or movie that better defines what Star Trek represents.
An era where humans, still with their faults have moved past much of the petty squabbles that have divided us through time, and are now venturing out into a universe filled with wonders and dangers we can't begin to understand, for the simple reason of wishing to know more than we do now.
It's kinda funny, because I totally didn't while watching the episode, then watched SFDebris review...which basically was a review of the weird looks he was giving Westley.
