some interesting concepts, you can see how it grew into what it became. Its funny to me to read that and think about what Star Trek became. It was pretty clear Roddenberry just wanted to tell thought provoking stories, without too much emphasis on an actual possible future. Kinda puts a wrench in all those who are too obsessed with canon.
