I'm a Byron Apologetic. I thought the story and character was fine. Really made an impact in the Lyta arc. After the Vorlons she had nowhere to go.
It also showed how badly she was being treated by Sheridan, and the others. The only times she ever got any respect, was when they needed her for something. Other than that, she was pretty much kicked to the curb.
Plus, it was also necessary for the winding up of the telepath war.
S5 had some good episodes, Day of the dead, a view from the gallery, Objects in Motion & Objects at Rest... SiL doesn't count as its' really the end of S4.
'Squirm' is an odd word. The more you say it, the weirder it sounds...and it's one of those words that makes me want to do the very definition of it every time I say it.
okay, I'm gonna try to stop thinking about that word now.
Eh, aside from the whole White Star turning around and facing C&C, I thought Objects at Rest was fairly weak. Especially since its sandwiched between two amazing episodes. Still good, but its stood up on either end.
Also, how can you forget the Psi Corps episode?

I thought Objects at Rest was a pretty good episode overall.
The other two episodes that stand out for me in season 5 were Learning Curve and Meditations on the Abyss

Maybe I would view Byron's coven in a different light if we'd seen the telepath war come to film.
But I did just remember another groaner scene that really made me squirm:
"Remember Byron. Remember Byron. Remember Byron. Remember Byron."
...not exactly, but still, he was in S5 a lot
