    Soon someone may be able to answer my long-asked question: is it worth me reading the rest of the series, given I only read up to book 7 or so before I got sick of the pace, and I'd probably have to re-read all of those again, first...

    honestly? Skip 9 and 10. Nothing of worth happened in them, could be summaried in 2 paragraphs.

    11 goes back to a decent pace, and a lot happens.
    12 is a very fast pace, and a LOT happens.

    I suspect 13 and 14 will be the same. a little out of time-line (In order to give each book a "finish" point, some events may be out of order by a day or so), but easy enough to see the events unfold.

    Next fall we get 14, and then the series will end. I trust it will be epic enough. :D
