Lol, My daughter just got one of those, well a Trek Mountain Bike anyway, and she as well is quite happy, It's taken me about 6 years since I moved back here to finally get my license again and get a bike. and i am LOVING it!

    I like my Specialized Sirrus.
  • Well, my bike weights probably as much as Entil'Zha's helmet...

How so? I only see something wrong with the pedals (or the lack thereof). :D

My bike weighs as much as a small elephant, it's a Goldwing 1100 weighs almost 900 pounds... it's a big bike! I may pick up a smaller one next year. maybe a Vulcan 900 or a Shadow 750.

And yes, if i get the Vulcan i will get the license plate "Spock"

Well, its a somesort of a "rule" that when you take a picture of your bike, front end should be pointing to the right. :) As in, "going forward".

Bike lacks pedals in that picture, as I hadn't yet installed any.. But trust me, they are in place now. Just arrived from lovely 80km cycling trip :)

    I got a motorcycle too...

Just a 125cc. Yamaha TDR125. But its pretty. And its nice.

Entil'zha, if you get the Shadow 750, make sure you get a Mordon licence plate.

And yet you thought of the Star Trek reference. Do you realise where you are?

Sounds pretty awesome. There are heaps of good places to cycle around here, too. One old railway line, for example, had its tracks ripped up and the route turned into a beautiful bike path, complete with old station platforms scattered along the route.

It just never came to me, dunno why. must be time to watch B5 again! (i'm currently finishing Firefly, which i never saw...)

    SHINY! (since you're watching Firefly).

Nice to see an old-school Goldwing...

Shiny.. Reminds me when watching Firefly under the influence of certain strong hallucinogenics.. Anytime Kaylee came on the screen, the world became shiny. I mean literally. Like staring into sexy cute sun.

heh! My dad still has his old GS1000 Goldwing. Unfortunately, it sat outside for many years, and was thus neglected. He's still slowly restoring it to it's former glory. All that's really left to do is to clean out the carbs, replace the seats, replace the tires, and possibly the brake system (with the exception of the cylinder, which was replaced a coulpe of years ago). If he ever finishes, and if this place is still around, I'll have to post pics.

If? We've survived this long, I don't think this place is going anywhere. Firstones.com is the Internet's cockroach. ;)

Yeah, when you turn the lights on we all scatter...

Ahhh... In Finland, motorcycle riders refer that thing as "A couch" - my co-worker actually has one of those. It's huge! :D

It is a big and heavy bike, thats for sure, but i love it.
