Even if they fail miserably for the rest of the tournament, they're already heroes in NZ now for not rolling over and playing dead like they were supposed to when facing Italy. :D

NZ never lost a match this WC, and they also beat Italy! :D
Air New Zealand named best long-haul airline. Gee, I wonder why? I mean it takes 24 hours to get there from any point in the world. :D
Therefore I posit that New Zealand's true location is somewhere between the Earth and the Moon. ;)

Wow that Japan game was great! Both those free kicks were amazing. I was sat there watching it with some friends, and we were all saying where on earth had the Japanese skill suddenly come from
Honda. That's where. :)
(But seriously, they whole team did great, I think that goal keeper has a personal grudge against the ball the way he goes after it).
I was sad to see the US team go. Ghana played a boring, ugly play the last 30 minutes, everyone in the team did their best to make the time pass quicker than it should..
England is getting run over by Germany, still 15 minutes to play and the score is already 4-1. Unbelievable....

That was an appalling performance from England. Makes you wonder why Capello and the players earn several million a year. And the 5 star training facilities and hotels they were put up in....
No way to deny Germany thoroughly deserved to win, and I say that as a proud Englishman!

Absolutely not! I just have the misfortune of living there. In actuality i'm a Yorkshireman, I just moved here with my family when Dad got a job here in the oil industry. As soon as I finish my last placement at the end of August, I'm heading back down to England and never setting foot in Scotland again!
To be true England put in more effort than their previous games but it just wasn't enough.

Yeah, it was the way we should have started playing in the first match and then improved on. But there was no way we were suddenly going to improve as much as we would have needed to beat Germany

You say that like it's a good thing.

"Kill the ball, kill it!!"
And tomorrow we'll witness another World Cup classic, England vs. Germany.
