Big Bang Theory Made fun of B5 tonight

Sheldon ripped it a new one. I actually laughed at it, nice to see it getting mentioned on a TV show again. Anyone else watch this show?

    I believe I've made my feelings about that show known before here. It's evil. It's a cancer. It will only serve to alienate us further from society by making us objects of ridicule.

    I mean, yes, I think it's funny, but I die a little inside each time I laugh. I also don't understand why the other three haven't killed Sheldon yet. At the very least why his roommate hasn't moved out.

    Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny. Sheldon's disparaging remarks about B5 offended my wife.

    However, if there were *true* sci-fi/B5 fans on the writing staff, Sheldon would have offered to watch the 4th season with Leonard rather than the 5th. Of course, if Sheldon really didn't care for B5 he wouldn't know that the 4th was better, so I don't know.

    There was also a great reference to Firefly.

    Darth: In an effort to butter up his roommate Leonard in order to get an invite to join him on a trip to visit the LHC in Switzerland, Sheldon brought him breakfast in bed. He then offered to watch the final season of Babylon 5 with him, including commentary, despite the fact that he finds the show shallow and the characters derivative, or something like that.

    Plus real fans would know that season 5 only has three episodes with commentary. :)

    What is this, the third or fourth time Babylon 5 has been mentioned on the show?

    That's ok, the simple fact that they mention B5 and say that it sucks is just an attention grabber.

    Besides, Leonard likes it.
