    IMO its mediocre. It certainly didnt live up to all the hype surrounding it.

    To be fair much of the hype was fan generated.

    Never picked it up either, I goofed around with the creature creation kit, but that's about it. I'm not even sure if it was a commercial success. It sort of dropped off the radar screen after a while.

    There was too much emphasis on the creature stage and the space stage. The civilization stage would have probably been my favorite but it was the most under developed of the 5 stages, which kinda ruined the overall game for me. Tribe stage could have been better as well. I liked the cell stage, it was basic but it was basic for a reason.
