I'm such a terrible parent.

Well, I would be if you lot were my children! :P

I've been neglecting this place for so terribly long this past year. In fact, I doubt I've even made as many as 100 posts in the last six months. Real life has been slowly and steadily stealing up most of my energy, leaving me either drained and/or elsewhere, tragically unable to post. So here it is, an update!

On the upside of things, my life has been shaken up a little bit and most of it for the better.

The Good:
Graduation appears! I'm one class and one internship shy of graduating. After [B]eight years[/B] attempting to make the best of unreliable finances while slowly absorbing (and then promptly forgetting) an education, I have
Kitty Happy Time. I've spent much time with the cats. More than I should have, perhaps. It's all very satisfying, though.
Cuddles! I have them again. Woot.
Rediscovery of Family. My direct family has made huge leaps and bounds with growing closer to one another. Goodness has ensued.

The Bad:
Personal Financial Soundness. Is it a myth, or just some strange and obscure legend that people often consider an achievable state?
Future Uncertainty. I have no idea where I'm going, nor any solid guide where to point.
Revenge of Carpal Tunnel! It's back, and it's been spontaneously debilitating my left arm. Bah.
Work. It always needs to be done, and the for-pay stuff doesn't like me not attending.
Neverending Class. While it is also somewhat literally so, my academic career has burned me out. I'm still an undergrad, yet I've been in for what amounts to nearly eight years by the time I'm out.

So that about covers the larger picture. In the not-so-near future, I'll be around much more often! It's just been such a crazy couple of months and my general interest in internet-based communications was seriously beaten down. Given a few more months to recover, I should be back to my old ways!

    Well for the financial soundness. It can be done, 6 years ago we left NYC, with almost no money and no idea of what we were doing, we came home to Maine just to work for the summer to earn some money. 6 years later we own a home and a business. so you never no.

    As to the Cats... they are cute little balls of evil who will force you to do their bidding through mind control!

    Also, Ive heard rumours of genetically engineered nonallergenic cats. Hoping to get one for my parents if its true. Cats are awesome.
