    You know the funny thing is that I think the Xbox live folks are actually doing a much better job of censorship than the FCC.

    Of course let me preface the follow by saying I am not advocating more censorship...

    At its core, the point of this type of censorship is to attempt the create a marker the stakes out a point that civil society is unwilling to cross. Language is an extremely fluid entity, so banning 7 words and calling it censorship is rediculous, it is simply lip service to the concept. At least in the case of Xbox Live, they are attempting to address the meaning and spirit of the words instead of just naming off a handfull of random words that you can't say.

    Wow... thoes fracking bastards. What the frell are thoes frellnicks up to? It's a total bunch of feldergarb! I agree with ya SD. They are more worried about limiting everything we can do rather than focusing on what can be done. If they want to limit who and who not can hear or know what... put fracking parental limits on accounts, so that us frelling adults can say/do what ever the frick we want. Big Brother is taking control more every day!
