Lucasarts + Steam
WORF
The Burninator
in Zocalo v2.0
Lucasarts will be releasing some of their old games on Steam.
So far we've got:
Armed and Dangerous
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure
LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventure
LOOM
Star Wars Battlefront II
Star Wars Republic Commando
Star Wars Starfighter
The Dig
Thrillville: Off the Rails
Half of those aren't really classics or even that old but supposedly more are coming. Now we just have to buy a million copies each of the X-Wing games when they get added so we can show they are profitable.

Hopefully there might be some more interesting ones added later, tho I'd rather have another X-Wing or Tie-fighter game ;)
I was all about it that summer it came out. I read the novel, got the soundtrack, played the game...I need to introduce my wife to it, play it again!
I agree with the X-Wing point wholeheartedly! Bring it back!
I've always wanted to play Loom. I think I shall be getting that without delay!

Tie Fighter in mspaint.

Awesome.
[Edit] After reading the link, definitely gotta get the updated Monkey Island!

The Fate of Atlantis is included in the new Indy game for the Wii as a bonus feature.

Well, at least wingmen were good in one thing, offering enemy other targets than you to shoot down... for first couple enemy waves.
Just bought Loom, going to try it later.

Worf: There was job postings a while back (I havn't check for a while), for people with experience in mobile apps. I did a search and Larry Holland is part of a team at Timelapsemobile. And looking at interviews, they have been mostly into the RPG and FPS games. So it looks like... well unless some "other" company makes a combat flight sim that just woo's the whole world over, a new X-wing or Tie Fighter won't exist... ever. Battlefront 2 tried to put something in and it sucked. Galaxies tried something and I heard it completly reeked. Recently released was the new X-com 3 (I think it's called the human conflict or something), and it quickly disappeared off the Wal-Mart shelves here in Indiana (Otherwise, it sold like crap on a stick) I buy every flight sim in hope that something I do helps spark the market, but yet no avail.
Actually I believe the whole rereleasing old games on steam is to see which sell the best so they know what to remake next after Monkey Island.
The new games were probably the quickest they could put together to keep the fans who were speculating it was going to be Battlefront 3 happy.

Really, if Lucasarts gets back to the quality of their original games, they could be a force to recon with.
