I would only get it on Bluray for Megan Fox in high def goodness :D

I dont got no bluray drive/player yet... :(
  • I'm really hoping the decent players hit the $100US retail mark by Christmastime. I think it'll happen but you never know.

Right now I'm using my company laptop that has a Blu-ray drive in it ported to my TV and home theater, but a stand-alone player would be SO much more convenient!
Here's something that made the movie slightly more entertaining to me in retrospect.

That was a great movie review.

Writer's strike or no, its not that hard to at least write a cohesive story...even children’s books generally have some story continuity.

I've been thinking of getting an external bluray drive for my laptop.. I am using it to watch movies on the tv anyway.

Not all children's books are bad. Some are actually very well written. (Had to read a lot of children's books in a college class. It was really cool when the instructor let me use The Last Unicorn for the final one that had to have the most written about it)

That's one of the most amazing FAQs I have ever read. It truly seems like I'd be unable to enjoy this movie, even if only for the explosions!

It doesn't matter how many baysplosions you have, if your story is that pain-inducing, the movie will not be entertaining.
Back on CYBERTRON, SIDEWAYS was a simple courier who avoided combat at all costs. He tried to always remain in the shadow of larger DECEPTICONS, where the AUTOBOTS might not notice him. On Earth, he's keeping much the same practice. He teamed up with DEMOLISHOR early on, and hopes that if the AUTOBOTS find them, the big CONSTRUCTICON can keep him safe.
One of the first Decepticons MURDERED in the beginning. Seriously... What happened? How did they become so evil? :)

Loved the battle Optimus Prime had, everything else was meh. None of the jokes were really funny, I understood them, but they didn't make me laugh.

According to the FAQ linked above, the Autobots really went out of their way to slaughter all of the Decepticons regardless of whether or not they were doing anything sinister (or even planning to!)

Chances are we'll see a Transformers 3 sequel, it earned $398,441,218 in domestic gross in only 9 weeks. I guess no thanks to its critics. :D

Either those old farts don't know what they are talking about or they are so detached from the current generation of movie viewers that they can't predict how a movie will be received by its intended audience. They just say it sucks because they don't get it, not because it's really a bad movie.
  • Apparently I'm the only one here who really enjoyed the movie.

    I can't say, I haven't seen it yet.
