National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Animated)
As for songs, pretty much any sung by Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and Co.

Music, Trans Siberian Orchastra, and "Christmas Time" by Smashing Pumpkins.

And for good measure, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
It's a wide spectrum of movies that are each good in their own right. I also do enjoy the first The Santa Clause, but the follow-ups have eroded some of the satisfaction.
Pure win
But as for my favorite christmas movie.. I'd say the new the grinch who stole christmas, and for song... Where are you christmas by Faith Hill, makes me cry every time.

What? I takes place during Christmas, and even has Christmas music! (It's actually become a family tradition)
There is already too much Xmas spirit in the stores, no need to bring it home as well. :D

Thankfully, in Japan, it all ends on the dot at the end of Christmas Day. The carols stop, the decorations came down, and, walking around the next day, you wouldn't know that all the shops were in the midst of Christmas fever just hours before.
Edit: Oh, and yes, Die Hard is definitely one of my favourites.
There's just no other way to watch it. Seriously. It's not good for your health to watch it without commentary.
