Coffee?

Anybody know a half decent coffee I can buy?

The crap we get is so sickening, it tastes like flavored toilet water. >_<

This is why you should drink tea, it is by far the superior beverage!

Sometimes tea is good. My mom actually has really great taste in tea. I can't remember the brand but while I was in London she bought this fantastic Raspberry tea from Sainsbury's.

She sends me some from time to time, but its been awhile.

I like my coffee.. hot. zing bada...
• Are you talking about espresso or drip?

If espresso, then definately Illy brand espresso... some of the best coffee I've ever had.

If drip then that would really depend... where do you live?

Don't drink Espresso too strong...

So drip it is, I live in New York State.

Hey why not take the coffee personality quiz on there then?

I got:

Hazelnut

Your relaxed attitude offers comfort to those around you. While many see you as a reliable friend, those closest to you truly appreciate your subtle, yet acute sense of humor.

Accurate I think.

The Blueberry Cobbler is one of our best sellers, it's the only flavoured coffee that we sell. We have it brewed hot daily, and also sell it in pre-ground packets, Next year i'm going to try and get it whole bean as well.

I don't care for flavoured coffees personally, but the customers love it, and its not as heavily flavoured as many of the others.

The cobbler ain't bad at all. All I drink is flavored coffee these days. As with Messiah I get nauseous from anything else.

How much do you charge for a cup at your cafe?
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
4.8 billion dollars...

16 oz is $1.80 + state tax, refil is $1.00 + tax.

Regular Drip coffee, Flavoured Drip Coffee and Iced Coffee are all the same price.

Internet access is free though yes?
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
No, Internet access is not free. we cannot afford to have tech support around if we give access away. if you want free access, stay at your hotel (although you are paying for that access in a hidden fee).

The funny thing is, a lot of americans tend to complain about having to pay, but the Europeans, think it's perfectly fine.

And the people off the cruise ships are happy, as with us, it's about .15/minute, and on the ships, its .75/minute with a $5-$10 connect fee.
• JohnnyOnTheSpotJohnnyOnTheSpot Banned by request
Bloody Capitalist!

Thats $4.50 cents for thirty minutes!

They charge 1 pound for an hour in London!

Well considering costs to maintain I guess your net profit is less than that by quite a bit.
• ShadowDancerShadowDancer When I say, "Why aye, gadgie," in my heart I say, "Och aye, laddie." London, UK
I would consider that to be a perfectly reasonably charge. But then again I'd only be going into his cafe to get a look at his daughter :p
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
See thats the thing, Some people do look at the rate, and complain about it, however, the vast majority of people say that it is about the same, or less than they usually pay.

The botom line is, we charge what we have to, 90% of the people consume just the minimum, which comes out to $2.68. we do get some people who'll stay for hours, but most of them dont care the cost, because their jobs pay for it.

Plus, as i said, we offer full tech support, if you have a problem getting on, we'll do everything we can to get you on, hell i spent 2 hours working on one guy's laptop. try that at GeekSquad.

I lol'd

SMART ASS!

But yes your right we won't even talk about Geek Squad. The horror! The horror!

Heh, I've been debating giving away wireless, but it would literally cost the business so much, that i'd have to elimitate 2 positions, which #1, sucks for the people I have to fire, and #2, means i have to work MORE hours.

what i may end up doing eventually, is having a connect fee, you pay $5 up front, and use it as long as you want, or having 2 pricing systems, you can have your wireless for free, but you get zero support, you are 100% on your own.

or you can pay the fee, and we'll help you connect to our printers/network/backroomporncam etc.

Hey no keep you business as is, its completely logical with today's economy. If they are going out on a cruise they can obviously afford the minor costs for the services you provide. I don't go somewhere unless I know exactly what I am looking for, and if I am getting something for going there. To waste your time on a luxury liner without having a purpose is completely benign. Fuck Them.

I may come to your cafe one of these days to see that daughter of yours assuming shes nice. :)

One thing I love about Seoul: Endless coffee shops (both chain and private ones) with free (limitless) wireless internet. :)
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
You have to go to a coffee shop for your free wireless? :p
• HuntSmackerHuntSmacker Firstones Ambassador to Starcraftia
No, I can just hop onto my neighbors wireless. But I don't need to, as I have a pure 10mb connection, also free with my rent :P
