• Puh, I liked Enterprise. Funny read, though!
• That was pretty funny. Except they seem to think that Voyager was actually decent.
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Yeah, I liked Enterprise as well, was at least in the same league as DS9. And Voyager is better than both. Ive only just watched through them all, and I got quite a different view of them now than what I remembered..

Meh, quite funny though.

I feel so sorry for Scott Bakula. So much wasted talent...

DS9 was far far far better than Voyager! I'd say Enterprise was the one in the same league as Voyager.

Biggles: yeah Bakula was wasted in that role. Well, maybe not the role, but the writing for it was certainly atrocious at times

Maybe we should just wait for the new movie to come out and watch it, before we dismiss it? :)

This could turn out great or like Superman Returns, who knows?
• ShadowDancerShadowDancer When I say, "Why aye, gadgie," in my heart I say, "Och aye, laddie." London, UK
See I really liked Superman Returns too :p

The role was a perfect fit for him. The writing was crap most of the time.

The movie studios didn't, plans are apparently in the works to reboot the Superman franchise yet again.

Personally, I think Superman Returns was ok, but it wasn't good enough to justify more sequels with the same people. The problem is, just being ok isn't good enough if you want financial backing these days.

So they're going to reboot the reboot? Oh jeez!

I thought Kevin Spacey was great as Lex Luthor, and Kate Bosworth is hot! But I admit that might not be enough to carry a movie heh
• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Voyager was a good Episode... errr. what i mean is, Voyager had SOME good episodes. the series overall was fairly weak IMHO, i believe their mistake, was trying to get away from the serialized nature of DS9, they wanted to get back to Episodic TV, but voyager was a seires that cried out for serilization,
• Falcon1Falcon1 Elite Ranger
That was pretty funny.
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
I believe current rumors have Kevin Spacey set to continue playing the Lex Luthor character in the theoretical rebooted reboot. At the same time, there seems to be some rumbling going on that the universe itself may continue on in other hands with some significant changes (but not a reboot).
• SpiritOneSpiritOne Magneto ABQ NM
we need other than lex luthor villains from the Superman universe. Brainiac, Darkseid, Doomsday, there are lots to pull from.
• continuity problems plauged Enterprise.
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Thats because it involved time travel. They changed the past..
• Falcon1Falcon1 Elite Ranger
They changed too much and tried to explain events in TOS such as the Klingon virus. While interesting it did work them into corners. Throwing in the Borg, sorry 'no name assimilation robo people' was also interesting but odd and problematic.
• What? Klingon virus? I prefer how it was in that DS9 episode. "We do not discuss it with outsiders!"
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
They tried to use human dna from the eugenics to enhance themselves. I think its a good explanation.
• Oh. I didn't know about that since I only ever watched one episode of Enterprise. That actually does sound like an interesting idea.
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
I feel I should point out that some of Enterprise's best episodes were those in the last season, such as the Klingon explanation thing, or the Andorian/Romulan story, or the Earth Xenophobia bit. These were miles above previous episodes in quality, and I was a bit sad to have only first watched them long after the series itself was canceled. I gave up on it around the middle of Season 2 and never turned back, and so did many others.
• Space GhostSpace Ghost Elite Ranger
I've said this here before, but I was extremely disappointed with Voyager. It was far too hung up on maintaining the status quo to ever be anything more than mildly entertaining. It was a real shame too, because I feel that it had the potential to be the best series of all.
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Its the same in all series, the first one-two seasons are crap. If you begin at the third season of any of the series, theyre a lot better..
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
Having recently rewatched DS9, I completely disagree. The 1st season is a brilliant mix of scene setting, foreshadowing, and drama that concludes in an excellent series finale based off the events of the entire season.
• WORFWORF The Burninator
Agreed.

And I'm not sure that Voyager improves at season 3-4 either, if anything it's when you start to see they've run out of ideas.

• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Are you kidding me? Season one and two of DS9 are unwatchable, I had to make myself watch them despite their utter lack of depth. Things start to get better but the worst episode is the anticlimatic destruction of the dominion fleet in the wormhole. ugh!

The series does have a few good episodes though, far beyond the stars is awesome and trials and tribbleations is good, but over all, I cant say it really meets the standard..
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
But you think Voyager is better and Enterprise (ug) is at least as good. That makes your opinion worthless. :p

As another example disproving your claim, consider Firefly.

Well I'm with Messiah, Voyager is better than DS9. I still struggle to watch DS9 whenever I see it. We've had this argument before nothing new but if you want you can also consider my opinion worthless. (BIGGLES)

Considering Firefly, it is awesome.

As long as were namedropping, what did you think of the second season of Heroes? :p
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
So, hm. Why does kirk have a black shirt?
