    You know, if the LHC did destroy the world, it would probably do it so completely and so quickly supplies wouldn't be an issue.

    Either that or it has destroyed the world and we just haven't noticed because black holes slow down time and it's taking a while to get this far...you know, like on that episode of Stargate SG-1?

    the time difference is in relation to the observer. To us it would be life as normal, however we would notice the sun going around darn quick.
