B5Scrolls Is Now Finished (mostly)
Around the start of the year I linked to new Babylon 5 web site that was more a beta to the final version.
The final version is now up and running (it’s got some rough edges but I’ll likely smooth them out over time). It’s about three times the size with a pile of exclusive interviews with 14 of the people directly involved with the show including John Copeland, Ron Thornton, Luc Mayrand, Tim Earls and Larry Bowman.
It will now work on all standard browsers such as Firefox, IE, Safari and Opera. (It’s been tested - a lot - so any problems will be down to bugs in specific browser versions – yes they exist - or some personal configuration glitch).
All the text is now copyable and there’s a bit of concept art section as well.
One interesting bit for me (at least) was the stuff Chris Wren had to say about the Legend Of The Rangers.

Anyway, it’s there for fans of the show to look over. And before anyone accuses me of looking for kudos in creating something like this, I’m not – and I can prove it, you won’t find my name, real or virtual, on the site anywhere.
This thread is only to let you know that the thing exists.
It’s intended to be primarily a reference site or sorts – it does contain a lot of unique content from the guys who did the work. (the stuff I added is NOT to be taken seriously in anyway shape or form – including the dodgy humour).
The reasons why I decided to make the site can be found in the Links Section – don’t ask.
So, enjoy, slag off or ignore as appropriate.

Are you wanting to continue the conversation about hosting, or have you the read the site now and think - maybe not. :)
Also I've changed the Wiki article on the Omega, don't know if that will be useful for inclusion in the Great Machine.

Anything come out from that Shadow-hybrid Starfury picture I sent you?
Interesting thing along the same line was Luc also did a concept for a human/shadow hybrid CREATURE. But the show got cancelled before that got a chance to be seen.
There might be a bit more concept art going in towards the end of this week as well.
One of the new articles is from Chris Wren, that shines a bit of light (at least it did for me) about a few things on LOTR. Like the Liandra could very well have had a personality – partially alive . . . . .. . . . . .
I imagine it will still take a minute to get the hang of the menu system, for anyone new to it. But it made sense to me at the time – what can I say.
[Spec]I might post a fuller review later[/spec]
As far as the other three station go. Never asked about it directly. But if you read the comments from Ron, Paul . . . . . and just about everyone, time was a big factor (Luc Mayrand and Steve Burg were freelance so only did as they were asked).
I did ask a couple of them about coming up with some concepts off their own back for ships and the like, and the short answer was always no – the only big exception to that was Ron and Steve did a lot of the early preparatory design work before the pilot was given the green light or they were formally employed to work on it..
