Possible huge impact structure in Mars
E.T
Quote-o-matic
in Zocalo v2.0
Looks like Mars has been treated rather badly in past...
This crater remnant whose size covers 40% of surface would also explain different topography of northern and southern hemispheres.

Talking about some big fireworks... :D
BTW, here's some good maps of Mars:

Olympus Mons is the really big one on the left side above and to the left of the three smaller ones.
Olympus Mons? It's Mars, not Greece! So if anything it should be Roman names. :D
Mike Rotch? Mike Rotch? Has anybody seen Mike Rotch lately? :D

(whatch out that buried Shadow ship and Psi Corps base in Syria Planum)
[QUOTE=Stingray;174043]I think it's time reintroduce public flogging for coming up with those silly names.

All you have to look at is upstate NY where I can go to Greece, Mexico, Ontario, Sweden, and Egypt all in less than a two hour drive. I can also go to Brighton, Manchester, Bergen, Warsaw, Wyoming, Sparta, Kent, Caledonia, York, Avon, Lima, Leicester, Bristol, Atlanta, Naples, Ulysses, and Romulus. Seriously!
