The Incredible Hulk

Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
I am surprised theres no threads about this yet.. I went to see it on friday and have to say I loved it!

In a way, it was better than Iron Man even. More action. And because they did the "origin" during the beginning credits it sort of was more easy flowing.

Ofcourse there were some weird things happening and stuff that sort of felt errorifying.. But over all it was a good movie.

Not an expert on cgi so not saying anything about that, just that it never actually felt bad for me. Never out of place, unlike some other summer movies this year *cough*INDY*Couch*

The love story was nice, and in some scenes pretty good too.

Cameos were fun.. Tho I would've liked to have seen what happened to Stan Lee more... :P

But yea... The biggest thing about it.. Tim Roth kicking ass. :P

IF you've seen it, you know what I talk about.. Its the way Captain America should be fighting if they make the movie.. or close to. Thats what I kept thinking.
When after having gotten some of that super soldier juice, he went mano a mano with the hulk for the first time.
Finally got around to seeing the incredible Hulk (2008) with Ed Norton and it is indeed better than the one featuring Eric Bana as the Hulk (2003). Not only that, I would even say that the movie is standing pretty well on its own merits, and is in the league with all those comic book adaptations which have taken a serious approach to the subject matter.

Nice cameo at the very end by Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. I guess that's why everyone keeps hoping that we may end up getting a movie with all those characters in it. :D

The only thing that doesn't make much sense is how this "general" can keep his job after causing so much havoc. People have been fired for much much less. But then this is all taking place in a comic book universe.

when you think about the ridiculous amount of shooting in public places this guy authorized, its amazing there weren't more casualties. I love when he tells the door gunner to use the minigun on abomination on the random rooftops of New York.

Otherwise, its a better movie than bana's, but I don't fault Eric Bana I fault the director.

    Holy thread resurrection Batman!

I dont think I've seen the Eric Bana one, or if I did I've managed to erase it from memory

Thinking about it last night, I think I may have seen at least some of it, but yeah I'm in no hurry to recall the rest of it. Pity, Eric Bana deserves better writing and directing that that
  • But but but...The Eric Bana one had Comanche helicopters! And Grand-Canyon jumping! And Sam Elliot!
