Somebody stop him...
in Zocalo v2.0
A B5 announcement? Maybe even a Rising Stars movie? Who knows but now I got something besides the WWDC to look forward too.

JMS needs some help...
kind of like steve jobs keynotes lately :D
No, I think I'd be satisfied if JMS announced that B5 DVDs were being rereleased in HD at half of their current price, and that a new Lost Tales was coming out next year. And that, for some reason, jmsnews.com was being renamed to WriterWords.
You can't blame JMS for hyping his own work, since nobody else is doing it for him. :D
So far I haven't checked out any other of his creations besides B5... I'm looking forward to the Changeling.

Jeremiah will be starting in the US on scifi, july 10

The problem is that he essentially hypes vapour. He keeps telling us great things will be announced on a certain date, and most of the time that date goes by with nothing. I'd have no problem with him hyping stuff if he'd learn to wait until things are set in stone before announcing "something really cool is happening!"

I highly recommend Jeremiah. In the first season especially, he really shows how good he is at long-form narrative.
I'm only looking foreword to B5 universe things. I haven't cable so no Jeremiah for me. As I understand it JMS did a few seasons. That it wasn't so good after he left.
jms wrote (with the help of someone else) both seasons. He left because he got sick of the network that was financing it basically being worse than TNT was to Crusade. Despite their interference, he managed to turn out an excellent short series with a relatively complete ending.
Am I a fan of JMS or just Babylon 5?
I liked some of his other works outside of B5 (rising stars and midnight nation) but he tends to get to full of himself when writing and it becomes too wordy.
I'll check out Jeremiah, but after seeing Jericho, I don't know if it will measure up to the new post-apocalyptic standard. :D
And Falcon 1 good luck on becoming JMS's apprentice. :)
And there's really no need for that because B5 is much much more about story and developing of persons than "bling".
of course i dont own an 8.1 system yet... but i will!
As for the 19th? If something interesting is revealed, that's great but I wouldn't get my hopes up, we're still waiting for at least 5 announcements.
Worf
I don't think 8.1 is even remotely usable.
