Yet another Robinson Crusoe!

This French guy wants to live for 300 days on a Pacific island armed with a Swiss army knife, a machete and video equipment to document his adventure.

Why would anybody want to do this voluntarily is beyond me?! You gotta love the comments below the article though. :D

    I do like the smoking volcano in the picture :D could promise some fun if thats gonna be his island!

    You can check out the "Tofua island" on Google maps and get a closer look. You may notice that there are a few huts visible, so it's not really deserted.

    I'm not so much worried about the footage than his ability to survive the elements, diseases and creatures that must be present on the island.

    As someone pointed out, it's another foolish attempt at "Into The Wild."

    Thats how long the battery lasted in the camera and he had no means of recharging it ;)
