B5 DVDs on Playstation 2

Hi. I recently bought B5 Season 1 dvds but I have to play them either on my PS2 or on the PC. ALl the dvds work fine on the PC so I'm guessin its not a problem with the dvds themselves but when I try to play them on my Playstation 2 it says "Disc Read Error". Occasionally I can get DVDs 1-4 to work on it but I have had no luck with 5 or 6...However my PS2 has no trouble with any other DVDs including The Gathering. I was just wondering if anybody else has had this same problem or whether its just me [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/frown.gif[/img]

    Region 1 works fine on mine if that helps..

    I'll let you know when they finally get some in stock again here, since I'll end up with the same region DVDs and probably have the same region PS2.

    Region 2 DVD's seem to work fine as well in my PS2.

    PS2's can be a bit finicky if the disk is dirty on the first sectors. Just an idea....

    I'll try cleanin the discs but i havn't had much luck yet [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/frown.gif[/img] Im thinking of gettin rid of my PS2 and gettin an XBOX so i guess it really doesnt matter..but i wanna wactch em now [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/frown.gif[/img]

    I just got home from college (where i was when i posted before) and cleaned disc 5 and 6 again but I still have the same problem. I put my PS2 on eBay and am gonna get an Xbox instead....I can't understand why my B5 dvds wont work when all my other dvds will

    My UK PS2 plays my region 2 B5 disks fine.
    Maybe the driver needs updating? How old is the PS2?

    Well I think its about 2 1/2 years old...i got it second hand...maybe that was a mistake....how do i update the driver?
