New X-COM game

WORFWORF The Burninator

It doesn't say much of anything really, no details just that it's going to happen.

Hopefully they'll look at the original game rather than some of the more recent spin offs.

    UFO Defense is one of my favorite games of all times, but needs an update. At least with late 90s graphics (wasn't already something like this done?).

    There have been several attempts to update the style of the game but they always seem to lack something :/

    Definietly agree that they need to go back to the series' roots. A re-boot would be great. I'd even be cool if they left all the balance, weapons, and tech of the original game alone, and just gave it a video/audio facelift.

    mmmm Mini guns and heavy canons for everybody!

    Although they do need to revamp the armor balance, that was fucked up, it seemed that even the flight armor, just allowed you to fly, none of it actually had a significant impact on alien weapon damage. I mean the highest level of armor should have saved your characters from being one shotted by the plasma pistol at least, right? nooooo

    True armor felt like a big waste. Except Flight Armor. That was just cool!

    Flying suits gave you 100% protection from Chryssalids, which was nice.

    I kan go as far as steam powered plate armour, I doubt they will fly.. :p

    I saw Iron Man yesterday to boot, so I really want some power armor!
