    Not quite ready for launch? There are multiple ion engines buzzing (well, some of them are drifting, now) around the solar system already. The article even mentions some of them (although it understates them).

    Ok ok I was on my lunch break and I didn't have time to google everything on ion drives... I was more interested in the fact they are building this thing about 20 miles away from me...

    I will promise to do more research in future sir and only post when said research has been suitably researched and written up, sir... :p
