mouse into joystick

Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
in Zocalo v2.0
any ideas or know how where to get a simple working emulator for joystick?

Been trying to get the PPjoy, paraller port virtual joystick, thing working.. but I reckon that its inability to work might be because I dont have a paraller port on this pc..

    PPJoy does work with a USB mouse or a laptop glidepoint pad.

    To run it, you first have to your game controller options.
    Second, click on advanced tab and set the PPJOY virtual device as the preferred device.
    Third, you have to run the.... I can't remember the name of it, but it's like ppmouse or something like that. That proggy has to remain running when you want to use it as a joystick.

    I had tried running some of those old games again like Tie Fighter and Dark Forces but the problem was getting the sound to work.

    Tie Fighter Collectors Edition, the one they updated into X-Wing vs Tie Fighter engine.. Tie95 commonly known.

    Sound and everything works just fine, all I need is a joystick... but wanna see if can get one virtual, so can play it on the train...

    Ah ok. PP Joy should work fine. I use it on my laptop to play X-wing Alliance at work on breaks.

    Yea, the problem is with older games, they don't support PCI audio, only the old ISA type cards. Common programs used to support the older games one is called DOS Box, and the other I can't remember, it's on my other system which its power supply is fried.
