    No, he's [I]not[/I] disgracing video games, if anything he's disgracing the movie industry. Since I haven't seen a single movie of his, I won't comment on his work but he sure gets a lot of media attention.

    When was the last time you saw a video game movie adaptation and thought, gosh, that game must have sucked?!

    I did see DOOM and I can tell you, this movie did not scratch my enjoyment of FPS games at all. There are tons of movies out there that didn't need to be made and yet there were people who made them. It would be interesting to see how many movies get made and what the percentage is of those that actually become blockbusters. My guess would be in the single digits at best.
