I'm gonna insert an obligatory remark on what they plan to do with his body now that he's deceased.
He was a great actor!
Some of us here grew up with his movies. The first movie I ever saw on the big screen was Ben Hur (not when it first came out in 1959 of course, but it was one of those movie classics afternoons in the early 80s.). I kinda liked him. He grows on you (or not), I suppose, but it's certainly not because he's cute.
If we judged the actors also by the way they behaved off the screen, I doubt we'd be watching many movies because most of them aren't on-screen what they truly are in real life. This thread is about the actor, not the NRA. Just because he liked guns, doesn't make him less of a man.
Still, I liked him as an actor, and really enjoyed many of his movies.
As far as the NRA goes, well Im a former Marine, and gun owner, hell I was out shooting my AR-15 yesterday, but I think the NRA has lost its way, and needs to be less involved in politics and more involved with empowering gun owners with the wisdom needed to have safe gun ownership.
"DAMM YOU ALL TO HELLL!!!!!"
